Vigilant Woodworks Conditioned Wood Storage

Conditioned Wood Storage

All of our hardwood lumber and composite wood panel inventories are properly stored in our conditioned storage area. A cold steam humidification system ensures that the wood is in perfect condition for the milling and joinery processes.

Vigilant Woodworks Assembly

Assembly

Much of our specialty millwork is assembled in this area. Custom wine storage and display components are among the most popular items produced in this part of the shop.

Vigilant Woodworks Finish Room

Finish Room

Our state-of-the-art finish facility is one of only a handful of shops in North America applying water based, low VOC stains and top coats for production woodwork. Our expert finishers can match or create finishes for customer approval, and then replicate that flawlessly across the entire project.

Vigilant Woodworks Door Joinery

Door Joinery

We manufacture a wide variety of high quality, solid wood and engineered-core doors in all manner of materials and finishes for both interior and exterior applications. Custom-radius doors and etched glass are our specialty.

Vigilant Woodworks Solid Wood Milling & Molding

Solid Wood Milling & Molding

Craftsmanship in wood all starts with the selection and milling of the material. We source the highest quality, responsibly-harvested hardwoods and plane and joint them using time-tested techniques. This ensures that the woodwork we produce will last the test of time.

Vigilant Woodworks Wood Recycling

Wood Recycling

100% of our wood waste is recycled and put to an environmentally responsible and carbon neutral use. All of our sawdust and wood chips are sent to a local topsoil compost facility. Our hardwood scraps are burned to produce heat for a large portion of our facility, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels by 30%.

Cut lists are electronically delivered to the machine from the Engineering Department, ensuring accuracy and tolerances well beyond human capabilities.
